Meet the Owner

Bob Chapman is a native Delawarean, born and raised in the Stanton area and a graduate of John Dickinson High School. Bob has always had a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. He started working at the age of 12, waking up every morning at 5 am to service his own paper route delivering the Wilmington Morning News (today’s News Journal). Through high school, Bob worked part-time at a service station. After graduating high school, Bob proudly served in the U S Air Force as an electronic technician on tactical ground radars. After 4 years, Bob was honorably discharge at the rank of Sergeant (E4).

Following his military duty, Bob worked 25 years for Westinghouse and Northrop Grumman as a radar systems engineer which found him traveling to many US states and several foreign countries maintaining radar systems, support equipment and installing radar sites. Due to the military nature of the work, Bob held a Secret Clearance with the U S Defense Department.

Following his retirement from Northrop Grumman in 2002, Bob founded his home improvement business, HomeScape Services.

Bob holds a contractor's license for New Castle County and the State of Pennsylvania. The business has been operating for 20 years. HomeScape Services is a full-service remodeler, providing renovations, restoration, maintenance and repair services. Bob is very organized and detailed oriented when performing his work and expects the same from those subs who work with him. Bob has very well-established relationships with an electrician, plumber, HVAC services, painting and roofing.

Bob has earned the trust of his clients over the years. He has clients who trust him with the keys to their home and the codes to their security systems.

As for family, Bob has 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.
